1.1.For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the terms below are defined as follows:
2.1.The Website operated by hommie.co.uk is designed to facilitate connections between potential customers and professionals for a broad spectrum of services. Your use of the Website is governed by our separate website terms of use.
2.2.On the Website, customers can search for and identify potential professionals. Our website algorithms assist in matching professionals with customers based on the latter's requirements. These customer requests are termed as "HOMMIES". Upon submission of a HOMMIE, we will introduce you to professionals who potentially meet your specified criteria.
2.3.To utilize our Facilitation Services, acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is required as per instructions on the Website. This acceptance forms a contract between you and us for the provision of Facilitation Services. Engaging with professionals for their services necessitates a separate agreement. Further details are provided below.
2.4.After submitting your HOMMIE, we will provide details of up to five professionals who may meet your needs. These professionals may contact you directly, or you may choose to contact them. If no professionals are found matching your criteria, we will inform you and offer the opportunity to adjust your requirements.
2.5.You have the right to review information from professionals and decide whether to engage with one for the required services. We do not endorse the capabilities of professionals identified via our Facilitation Services. It is your responsibility to verify their suitability before entering into a Customer Contract. Any services agreed upon are between you and the professional, not hommie.co.uk.
2.6.hommie.co.uk provides links to professionals' websites (where applicable) and includes a platform for customer reviews, which are available for others to view on our Website.
2.7.Reviews must be honest, based on personal experience, and free from offensive, racist, sexist, unlawful, or false content. We reserve the right to remove non-compliant reviews and may restrict future review privileges. Please refer to our Website Terms and Conditions for more details.
2.8.We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content on professionals' websites. These third-party sites are managed by the respective professionals. Engaging their services requires a direct contract with them.
2.9.The Facilitation Services are provided at no cost to you.
Important:
hommie.co.uk solely acts as a facilitator in the introductions detailed above. Any services rendered by a professional to a customer are governed by a separate legal agreement. Should there be any issues with these services, your legal recourse is directly with the professional, not with hommie.co.uk.
You have the right to terminate your contract with us at any time. To do so, simply discontinue your use of the Facilitation Services. If you have an active customer account on the Website, please notify us of your decision to end the contract by reaching out via email, phone, or post, using the contact details provided earlier in this document.
